According to the book Elvis: Day by Day by Guralnick and Jorgensen, 24-year-old Elvis met 14-year-old Priscilla on September 13, 1959. The book Everything Elvis by Helen Clutton relates that Elvis met the nymphet at a party at his home in Germany while he was in the military.
Albert Goldman wrote in his book Elvis that despite Priscilla's parents initial objections to the relationship, they gave the relationship their blessings after Elvis promised not bring Priscilla home too late. Subsequently, Elvis and Priscilla were together on a regular basis until he left Germany in March of 1960.
Guralnick and Jorgensen wrote that the 27-year-old Elvis and the 17-year-old Priscilla reunited in 1962. And according to the book Down at the End of Lonely Street by William Heinemann, to avoid the legal ramifications of having an affair with a minor over the years, Elvis married Priscilla on May 1, 1967.
